Hederagenin is a triterpenoid chemical constituent derived from the Hedera helix plant (common ivy). It is the aglycone part of several saponins in the plant, primarily hederacoside C and alpha-hederin, and is also found in the Chenopodium quinoa plant.
The Ivy Extract is standardized to contain Hederacoside C ≥ 10.0% analyzed by HPLC. It is a brown yellow powder with a characteristic odor and taste, and is certified GMO-Free.
Ivy Extract helps treat joint pain and lower back pain, promotes blood circulation and detoxification, and can effectively resist carcinogenic substances found in nicotine.
As part of saponin aglycones (including oleanolic acid and phytolaccinic acid), it acts as a seed treatment for tuber, legume, and cereal seeds, or as a pre-plant root dip to prevent fungal, bacterial, and viral plant diseases.
The extract should be kept in unopened containers stored in a cool, dry place away from strong light. It has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production when properly stored.
